The Champion 2 year old Bull was Oakview Destiny 803, owned by Allan and Patricia Hayward of Cambridge, he sold for $4500 to Est. T&W Burgess, Southland. The only yearling bull present, Yorkvale Exalt failed to reach the reserve and was passed in. The rising 2 year old heifer Yorkvale Dandelion was sold to BH and BR Buchanan of Ballee stud for $2,200. The AC Watson herdsmans trophy was awarded to Allan Haywards' son who led the Champion bull Oakview Destiny. Unfortunately the other two yearling bulls were not present at the sale due to transport and health problems.
