National Murray Grey Tour
Hosted by Southern Murray Grey Club
The Southern Murray Grey Club is in the throes of organising next years National Tour. Below is a brief of the tour as we see it at this stage. As it’s a very busy time of the year in the south, especially as regards tourists/tours, accommodation is very tight. In order to keep costs within budget we need to have an indication of likely tour numbers. At this stage we require an indicative number only and registration for the tour will be required in the New Year. As space will be limited those who reply now will be given registration priority.
We will be able to give you a cost for the tour once numbers are known.
Deposits have been paid to secure accommodation in Queenstown for Fri/Sat nights.
There are some options available for tour members:
- Members can either arrive in Dunedin on Tuesday 4 March or there are flights into Dunedin from AKL, WEL, CHC on the morning of Wednesday 5 March. The bus will be able to meet those arriving on Wednesday but will be leaving the airport at 10am. Please indicate which option you will be taking.
- On Saturday 8 March there are options.
1. The bus will travel to Wanaka and the Royal Event Show.
2. Free day in Queenstown.
- As the tour will officially finish on the Saturday with an optional evening please indicate if you will be departing from Queenstown or wish to return to Dunedin on Sunday 9 March (especially for those who may have traveled by road to Dunedin)
